This stylish course was cut out the woods on a former Christmas tree farm and features tall firs and free-roaming deer. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on at least seven holes. The course draws 80% of its visitors from Seattle and Tacoma, including occasional celebrities such as Roger Clemens. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 4th "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996. The same publication named it the 10th "Best in State" course in 1995-96, and 5th best in 1997-98. In the category of "Top 75 Public Courses," it was ranked 42nd in 1990. There is no nine hole rate on weekends. All tees are rated for both men and ladies.
