This resort was name to "GOLF Magazine's" 1996 list of "Silver Medal Resorts." In addition, it has been recognized by the Audubon Society for maintaining its abundance of wildlife in harmony with the layout of the courses. The Semiahmoo Course is a heavily-wooded design, has relatively large, contoured greens and plenty of sand bunkers. Hole #11, a 371-yard, par 4, features a fingery bunker between the fairway and the lake on the right. And with a cove of the lake eating into the fairway on the right before the green, there's little to be gained by cutting across the corner on this hole. The Loomis Trail Course has open fairways and medium-sized greens that are relatively flat and fast. Tee times for weekends are reserved the Friday before.
