2636 E 61st St
Tulsa, Oklahoma 74136
Phone: 918-494-0001

This club has 27 holes playable in three combinations. The Front Nine Course usually plays in combination with the West Nine Course, the Back Nine Course is played with the West Nine Course, or the West Nine Course may be played as a nine hole course. The Front Nine/West Nine Course has tree-lined fairways. This is a shotmaker's course with no straightaway fairways. Hole #18 is considered one of the toughest holes on the PGA tour. The West Nine Course is wide open and easier to score well on. The greens on all these courses are full of subtle breaks. The terrain is rolling, and creeks and ponds come into play on many holes. "GOLF Magazine" awarded it 24th in the category of the "Top 100 Courses in the U.S." for 1995 and 1999, and 25th in 1997. "GOLFWEEK" selected it 18th among "America's 100 Best Classical Courses" for 1997 and 1999, and 20th in 1998. This championship course hosted the PGA Tour's PGA Championship in 1994. This club hosted the 1958 and 1977 U.S. Opens and is scheduled to host the 2001 U.S. Open. Southern Hills was also selected to host the 89th PGA Championship in 2007.
