Nevada’s Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course

The Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in Stateline, Nevada hosts a celebrity tournament every year and has previously hosted the Senior US Open. Golf Digest ranked it 2nd best in the state, and 69th in the top 100 courses you can play in the US in years past. The course was originally designed in 1968 by George Fazio and redesigned in 1980 by Ron Fream, Peter Thomson and Michael Wolveridge,

This 18 hole course features water hazards on eight holes, tree lined fairways and sand and grass bunkers. The turf is bent grass in nature.

The course opens in mid May and continues until mid October. Tee times begin at 6:30 and reservations are required a whopping 90 days in advance of your arrival. The Pro Shop opens at 6 :30 as well if you’re looking to do a little early morning shopping before your tee time.

Edgewood is a public golf course and has an open guest policy. The dress codes only restrictions are no tank tops or cutoff shorts. A driving range is available with practice shots form grass. The Clubhouse offers a full bar, beverage cart, snack bar and restaurant. Golf clubs are available for rental. Walking is allowed on the green and golf carts are also available for rental during your visit.

This course is popular with celebrities and you may find yourself walking with some of Hollywood’s finest while visiting Edgewood so dress appropriately and remember your manners while golfing, you never know who may be watching.
