This tree-lined course is located in a beautiful setting on the top of a mountain. The course was built on undulating terrain and has water hazards that come into play on several holes. There are also sand bunkers spread throughout the course. This club was originally founded in 1887 and has been listed by the USGA as one of the first 100 clubs established in the U.S. In addition, it was recognized by GOLF Magazine in its 1995 list of "The First 100 Clubs in America." Charles Banks did the original design in 1930, followed by redesigns by A.W. Tillinghast and Frank Duane. Guests must be accompanied by a member in order to play this course.
