The Merrimac River flows throughout this course and can come into play on all nine holes. The signature hole is #1, a 209-yard, par 3, which is described as "super tough" by the local golfers. The difficulty arises due to the small, tight greens that are framed with mature trees. This course is closed to public play Monday through Friday from 4 to 6 PM, and on weekends from 6 AM to 3 PM.
