This course has several interesting holes, and it is in the country, so the atmosphere is peaceful and quiet. James River comes into play on five holes with a bit more water on a couple others. There are numerous sand bunkers on this course, and big hitters will face a temptation or two. There are many mature trees on the front nine, plus new trees that have been added in recent years are starting to fill out.
