This is a fairly wide open golf course. The front nine has tree-lined fairways and undulating greens. There is a creek that flows alongside some very demanding holes; one of them is #10, a 590-yard, par 5, and the other is #1, a 440-yard, par 4. The course is very scenic and loaded with wildlife. The pro shop is usually fully stocked with golf merchandise. This club has the largest junior golf program in the State of North Carolina. Walking is permitted on weekends after 1 PM.
