This club opened its first eighteen holes in 1997, the Hill/Marsh Course, and the Jungle nine opened in 1999. Copper Hills now offers 27 holes of golf playable in three eighteen-hole combinations: Hill & Marsh, Jungle & Hill, and Jungle & Marsh. The club is nestled on 367 acres of rolling hills up to 1,190 feet above sea level. The views are spectacular and the golf is unforgettable. Even though the solitude and luxury make you feel far away, Copper Hills is located only minutes from Rochester, The Palace of Auburn Hills and Pine Knob. Although Copper Hills offers five sets of tees to accommodate all levels of expertise, from under 6,900 yards, the tournament tees are rated by GAM (Golf Association of Michigan ) as the most challenging in Michigan. Copper Hills is open in the spring, weather permitting, and closes after the first major snowfall.
