Architect Jeff Gorney, also the designer of Little Traverse Bay, lent his special talents for designing a new nine holes that would perfectly compliment the original nine holes (once rated by the National Golf Foundation as one of the top nine hole courses in the region), and in the process, created an exciting eighteen hole course. The terrain on this course varies from gently rolling to hilly, so expect many uneven lies. Some of the fairways are heavily wooded, while others are wide open. In addition, a creek meandering throughout the course turns this into a shotmaker's delight. Everyone is welcome to challenge "The Hawk."
