This course's greens are quite large. Strategic bunkering and a minimum of water hazards add to the character of this course. White birch and pine trees line many of the fairways; they can affect your shots if you hit an errant tee shot. The entire area is home to an abundance of wildlife, so it's not usual to see deer roaming along the fairways. This course hosted the Michigan Amateur Classic in 1996. Walking is not allowed on the weekends.
