This Scottish links-style course features heather rough lining the fairways and encircling the greens. The course designer used the natural terrain whenever possible. The terrain is predominantly flat, but moguls on the sides of the fairways will cause uneven lies. The well-maintained greens are fast and feature numerous subtle breaks. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on five holes. Some of the tee boxes and greens are elevated. The wind comes into play at times, making proper club selection very important. The signature hole is #9, a 365-yard, par 4, because it features an incredible view of the entire course.
