Belgrade Lakes, A Great Golfing Spot For Visitors To Maine

Belgrade Lakes Golf Club brings a lot to the table in the golf course market. Every Tee offers spectacular views with the Belgrade Lakes nearby. Enjoy panoramic views of top notch Maine landscapes as you relax with a round of golf.

This course isn’t just for looks, with fairways lined with boulders and sudden elevation changes, even the most seasoned golfer will be pleasingly challenged. The fairways are described as bent grass in nature. This course was designed by British native Clive Clark, and was his first endeavor here in the States. The course has been nicknamed “a gem in the wilderness”.

The course is open to the public starting in March and remains open until the first of November. Tee times begin at 6:00 here in Maine, so get an early start. You will need to make reservations to play at lest 7 days in advance of your desired date of arrival.

You won’t find alcohol or a Pro Shop on the premises, but they do offer a restaurant. Golf clubs and golf carts are available for rental as well and the Belgrade Lakes Golf Club offers caddies if you so desire. Walking is allowed on the green but there is no driving range. The dress code restricts denim and collared shorts along with Bermuda length shorts are necessary to play.

This “gem in the wilderness” of Maine is well worth adding Belgrade Lakes to your travel itinerary when visiting the great state of Maine.
