This course was designed similar to the Carolina salt marsh courses you'll find at Myrtle Beach. After the first two holes, the course becomes really interesting as your tee shots and approach shots will be challenged by environmentally-protected marshes and water. Water hazards come into play on a total of eleven holes, including #14, a 465-yard, par 4, which has a pond sitting to the right of the well-bunkered green. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 7th "Best in State" course for 1997-98, and 45th among "America's Top 75 Affordable Courses" in 1996.
