The Bulle Rock Golf Club, Water Hazards Galore

The Bulle Rock Golf Club in Havre De Grace, Maryland is an amazing course to behold. It was designed by Pete Dye and opened to the public in 1998. Since its opening, The Bulle Rock Course has been voted one of the top ten you can play, by Gol Magazine, as well as ranking 15th on America’s top 40 daily fee golf courses and 67th on Golfweek’s America’s 100 best modern courses. This award winning course is described as bent grass and features water, lots of it.

There’s a lake right in the middle of the 9th, as well as two others running parallel with the 12th and 18th holes. Nearly 500,000 gallons of water run into this course during a typical summer day through a pipeline constructed for the course that runs the three mile trek from the Susquehanna River.. The Bulle Rock also features 125 well places bunkers to add to the difficulty of this course. A driving range is provided from the grass.

While the course is open to the public, you need to make your reservations a full 30 days in advance to play. Tee time starts at 6:00am so get to bed early the night before. There’s a Pro Shop on site as well as a beverage cart, snack bar and a restaurant. A full bar is available to golfers also.

The dress code requires a shirt with a collar and Bermuda length shorts. Denim is not permitted on the course. Walking is allowed and golf carts are available for rental as well as golf clubs. Caddies can be reserved if you call ahead.
