This facility, which was named to "GOLF Magazine's" 1996 list of "Silver Medal Resorts," features three regulation eighteen hole courses and a sporty nine hole course. These courses were built on the highest elevated terrain in the local area. The North Course features open fairways, whereas the South Course has narrow fairways. "GOLF Magazine" rated it 94th best under the 1996 category of "Top 100 Courses You Can Play in the U.S." The newly built General Course is the most challenging design. Many people will appreciate the views of three states from several of the tee boxes. A creek flows throughout all the courses and comes into play on a number of holes. "GOLF Magazine" selected the course 95th in its 1998 list of the "Top 100 Courses You Can Play in the U.S." The Eagle Ridge Golf Academy is located on the premises; for additional information call (815) 777-5200.
