Just a short jaunt from downtown Chicago and O’Hare International Airport the Tom Fazio designed Glen Club hosts the annual PGA Nationwide Tour's LaSalle Bank Open, and was named home of the Illinois Golf Hall of Fame and in its first year in 2001 was named one of the top 10 new courses in all three major golf publications, Golf Digest, Golf Magazine and Sports Illustrated.

Built on the old Glenview Naval Air Station, the Glen Club had the opportunity to be built from the ground up, literally, with the former occupant of the area satisfied with the flat layout of the ground. Fazio put his talent to work creating another great challenge for Illinois golfers.

Starting with a par 5 number one hole hitting off the tee next to water, it takes 530 yards from the white tees to hit the green. Number three, a 427 yard par 4 also places water right in front of the tee box followed by a 129 yard par 3, fourth hole. Water also comes into play on holes seven and eight, with hole number 11 slowly turning left around a lake that guards the back of the green as well, gulping down balls hit over the green on this 176 yard oar three.

Finishing the course will take some concentration and hopefully you will have enough power to go the 530 yards to the green. This hole begins near water and wraps around water, circling to the right on the way to the green with sand on both sides of the fairway and approach.
