This course overlooks the ocean, and its back nine plays into a valley. Water hazards come into play on at least eleven separate occasions. Hole #18, a 422-yard, par 4, requires a tee shot onto a tree-lined landing area protected by a tree and sand bunkers, and an approach to well-protected green with a pond on either side.
