The fairways and greens are well bunkered, and water hazards are a common occurrence. Pine and oak trees, along with a defined cut of rough, border all the fairways. The undulating greens are somewhat large and maintained between medium to fast in speed year-round. Western Golf operates this course, and the pro shop was picked as one of the top 100 shops in the country for 1996, 1998 and 1999. This course was also ranked as #5 in the country for a "Daily Fee Course" by "Golf Shop Operations" magazine for 1996.
