Delaware’s Jonathan’s Landing Offers Challenge For All Levels

Situated in Magnolia, Delaware just off Route 113, Jonathan’s Landing offers 27 holes of golf to challenge the best and give confidence to the beginner. Located south of Dover Air Force Base, off routes 1 and 113, it offers a great view towards the Atlantic Ocean.

Rolling and severe hills mark the front nine of The Point course while the back nine is plagued by water and bunkers making every shot count. Golfers who enjoy carrying the full compliment of 13 clubs in their bag will use the majority of them as they traverse this challenging course.

The shorter Cape Course, offers nine hole of challenging golf with six par 4 holes and three par 3’s.

The center blue tees at The Pointe offers 6,153 yards of challenging play with 2,859 on the hilly front nine and 3,294 on the back. The blue tees on The Cape course runs 2,263 yards with a Par of 33 and the longest par 4 hole running 372 yards. With one 97-yard par 3 this short course will give you the chance to work on your short and long iron game.

The front nine of The Pointe features water hazards on holes one, five, seven and nine along with the rolling grounds while on the back nine, four holes have water as a direct threat and if your tee shot on the dogleg on number 12 sails too far, you can end up in the lake on the outside corner of the turn. Another lake between holes 16 and 18 can put you in danger if your tee shot strays from the fairway,
