This course has open fairways on the front nine, and the back nine is tight and tree lined. The greens are large, undulating, and fast. Water hazards (streams and ponds) come into play on five holes. There are six par 4's that measure over 400 yards in length. The signature hole is #8, a 561-yard, par 5, which features a huge oak tree in the middle of the fairway and a very shallow green. This club was host to the Nike and Hogan Local Qualifying Tournament from 1991 through 1993, and the USGA National Public Links Qualifying Tournament in 1995.
