This facility, which was named to GOLF MAGAZINE's 2002 list of "Gold Medal Resorts," features a Scottish links-style course. The course is located alongside the ocean, and has many great views of the coastline. This course was officially certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, the first in the state and only one of twenty-one nationwide to receive such an honor. The co-designers are Tom Watson and Sandy Tatum in connection with Robert Trent Jones, Jr. GOLF MAGAZINE" rated Spanish Bay 41st best in its "Top 100 Courses You Can Play in the U.S." list.
